#23 Voyeurism

There are a lot of really great quotes and definitions that I have come across in my research. For this experiment, I decided to use what I have collected alongside imagery, so the project focus becomes as straightforward as possible.
For the creation of this set of posters, I decided to focus on voyeurism.
Sturken and Cartright define voyeurism as 'the pleasure in looking while not being seen' (2001). I chose to use this as a key piece of text in all the posters. Each poster contains an image from a film where the actress is displayed for voyeuristic purposes. I have created seven posters that can be seen below.

I believe the goal of the project is much clearer in these posters than the Fragmented women. However, more experimentation with typography would centre graphic design within the project and help to make the posters stand out. I did wonder if I could use this same technique with other definitions. An example of this is included below.
