#6 Poster Ideas - Blue Velvet Continued...

After producing the sketch in my previous post, I felt the next step was to digitise and colour my illustration.

I started by experimenting with the design in Procreate as I wanted to work in some new software. I reworked my sketch before beginning to fill it with colour.

Once I had the outline to work from, I began to experiment with the different brush options; however, I really didn't like the texture and felt that this didn't feel like the right medium for the outcome I was working towards.

I then started to work in illustrator towards a vector illustration instead; however, I think I was running out of steam at this point. I am not happy with the proportions, so I think I should come back to this with a fresh mind.
