#9 Potential Layouts

During the previous experiments conducted on the illustration for Blue Velvet, I began to consider how the work could be incorporated within different outcomes. I had decided to move away from simple poster redesigns and referred back to previous notes on possible routes for the project.
The illustration alone doesn't highlight the problem. Drawing on Hedit's work (Milsom, 2020) at Pixar, I decided to think about adding data besides the illustration to present the issue from more than one avenue.
As I looked at a selection of 4 different films, I began exploring what areas would need to be covered if there were sections for each film to be examined individually to give a complete picture.
The result included; an illustration, screengrabs evidencing problematic representation within the film, icons with text showing issues within the film, a selected quote and an infographic chart. I chose four different formats readers could view the outcome. The options were an editorial layout, a print newsletter, an email newsletter, and a web page.
The elements included in each wireframe are the same. I created a key including the descriptions for each symbol, so they are identifiable.
