A New Wave of Inspiration

When reading the Design History article, mentioned in my previous post, I collected names of designers that I could research for inspiration, for not only New Wave design work, but subversive design styles. My goal for this module is to create subversive design work as well as subvert my methods of creative practice in order to determine if this aids my creativity. The list of the artists and designers I noted down are in the image below as well as the link to the original article in the bibliography.

I selected for graphic designers to research, analyse and maybe use for inspiration. I looked at the work of Wolfgang Weingart, April Greiman, Dan Friedman and David Carson. Image links in bibliography.
Once I had selected images, I bullet-pointed aspects of the work I noticed i.e. changes in type weight, page furniture and use of imagery. My sketchbook pages are included below. From this, I need to come up with a plan to answer my question 'in what ways can subversion develop creativity in relation to practice?'. I need to consider if I can test this.
